Every pup we raise truly reflects the breed standard, with no oversized or non-standard colors produced. Our Dobermans excel in a range of AKC performance arenas—including obedience, agility, conformation, service work, protection, and sport—and, most importantly, thrive as cherished family members in their forever homes. Our lifetime breeder support ensures that you never feel alone in your journey with your new Doberman. Our puppies are raised in a nurturing home environment, with special attention to their critical early developmental periods. They are carefully socialized and gradually introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences, preparing them well for the diverse environments they will encounter throughout their lives. At DoubleTake Dobermans, we take pride in raising top-quality, AKC registered Doberman Pinschers. We emphasize breed standards in conformation, working ability, health, longevity, and temperament. Each of our dogs comes from a lineage enriched with champion and working titles, and they are either title-holders themselves or are actively working toward new titles. We maintain the highest standards of health by utilizing comprehensive DNA/OFA testing and the latest modern techniques to minimize common health risks. Every puppy is raised and handled daily in our home, benefiting from early neurological stimulation and desensitization practices. Additionally, each puppy undergoes temperament testing at six weeks to ensure the best match with their future home. Our commitment to you and your new DoubleTake Doberman is lifelong. We are so blessed to have found Double-Take after losing our 9 year old Dobie this summer. We welcomed our firecracker ******** in to our family in August and brought sweet George home 2 months later. Laura has given me so much guidance and you can tell she truly cares. I felt so comfortable after talking to her at length on the phone that I was willing to drive 9 hours alone to meet her and get our first pup. She walked me thru posting the ears since it has been several years since I has done it and provided me guidance and resources once home until I got the hang of it. She has dealt with my panicky texts and calls and never made me feel bad about bothering her. Voodoo is 8 months now (50/50 Euro/American) and every day he amazes me. He is the sweetest most affectionate dog and is always ready to work. He has taken so much time, work, and training but it’s all so worth it. He recently had his first session of bite work and they were so impressed with his drive and bite. They said he wasn’t like other Dobermans they’ve worked with, and that he is a truly great dog. Consistent training is so important, and if you want a Doberman please put in the work. But if you’re willing to give up your time every day to train and work, you can’t go wrong with Laura’s dogs. I’m starting protection training with him, and every trainer I’ve worked with has said he has the drive and the stable and confident temperament needed for that kind of work.

A protection dog is not an accessory it is a responsibility. That being said, I’m so happy I chose a dog from DoubleTake

Wonderful, caring breeder who ensures the healthiest pups through thorough testing. She’s so kind, and we’re still in touch regularly more than a year later. She genuinely cares about her pups. I got my first Doberman from Laura two years ago, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Laura is incredibly knowledgeable about the breed and genuinely cares about the dogs’ well-being and the longevity of the breed. She is always so helpful in answering any questions I have, from showing us how to post ears, detailed care requirements like echocardiograms and any other questions I had regarding my pup’s health.
